I just got my very first wacom tablet and I AM IN LOVE!  Having already learned the basics of photoshop from my boyfriend [link], I was able to get right down to business and start learning what kinds of things I could do with such an amazing tool.  So far I've created a couple of things I'm quite proud of and my professional graphic artist of a boyfriend was highly impressed.

On a side note, that same day I got a brand new tattoo after 8 years!  It's a beautiful toucan done in the traditional style with lots of color and contrast.  My good friend since high school and tattoo artist/shop owner Dawn Cooke [link] did the honors of inking it into my skin forever.  She and I have been friends for quite a while but this is the first opportunity I have had to get ink from her and I'm couldn't be happier with how it came out.  When it's fully healed I will be sure to post a picture!
